I may put up more from this, the KRS/5RC showcase at the 2005 CMJ Music marathon, in time, but right now this is definitely the hottest thing I saw all week - The Gossip doing their shortly-to-be-released hot new single and coming album title song - the defiant 'Standing In The Way Of Control'. Beth Ditto seemed recovered from her recent gall bladder operation, and was in her usual stomping form. Hannah (of Shoplifting) now appears to be a permanent fixture on drums. Nathan was ripping on guitar. JD of LeTigre, who have done the remix on the single, moshed in the pit.
