The Seconds are somewhat of a rare sight, as they include in their ranks Brian Chase of the YYY's, and Zack of Ex Models. So shows have to be fit between those commitments. The band, while original, certainly evokes both those outfits. Meshing the yyy muscle with the ex mod zaniness, anchored by the steady throb of bassist Jeannie Kwon, their shows are totally about music and fun, and are a favorite with family and friends. Here we have them kicking off the 2003 fall season with a session in the KF tap room. The clip, appropiately, was the second song in.
I almost missed openers Electroputas, a japanese-american hybrid based in NYC, but was able to get the camera out in time to get most of their last song. Sound is a little naff and i have juiced the clip up with a few effects, so it's a bit impressionistic. Don't worry I'll get them again.

| While I'll save the 'Putas for possible inclusion on a comp, I did do up a VCD of The Seconds. (13,30:25).
