'long time comin'

As mentioned before this was Rough Trade week in NYC. The Kills, freshly signed to RT's new US arm, being the second punch. Unlike The Libertines, for whom this week was an american debut, The Kills, to their credit, came and toured extensively last year, playing every little corner. I did get to shoot them twice, but never did get the good audio. This time, at Southpaw, no problem. I was impressed how much stronger and confidant they have become. The Kills are a swamp-boogie band. John Lee Hooker lives. In the Everglades. The first song below - "Pull A U" - I hear will be their next single in the UK.
