I had got to know Ashley, bass player of the Tallboys, earlier in the year as one of the crazy beer-flinging contingent at yyy/liars debacles. Feist to spare. I was able to kiss off an earlier engagement just in time to make it out to
the Mighty Robot to catch the band headlining on a Saturday night. The four girls hammered out 11 songs, drenched with dry humor, about topical subjects. Sex, public transportation, sex, terror alerts, not to mention magnetic calendars and acronyms, and sex. Try the clip below, a hymn to recklessness.
