Word had got around and thus this show was packed, mainly with the boots and braces crew but also a decent contingent of roots lovers. Unfortunately Glen himself had caught the nasty throw-up-for-24-hours flu that was going around NYC at the time. Nevertheless the show went on, and was a real treat. It was evident that he had not played some of the tunes in some time, but gamely took a shot for the ecstatic crowd and band. I understand that all concerned enjoyed themselves so much that a tour of Europe is in the works, presumably after a few more rehearsals :).
