One of the better things about NYC in summer is the occasional free concert on the city piers. This was one of the better of those. On a Monday, Radio 4 somehow sneaked into a spot on the South St Seaport, usually reserved for milder, folkier type acts, and proceeded to sharply blow away the tourists and apres Wall St crowd. Framed by the masts/rigging of tall ships, a rosy glow shone on the band from late afternoon sun in the west. What you have here are the first two songs of the set.

And yes i have knocked up a VCD of the show, except for the last two songs which I missed due to a flat battery :( - but 9 good songs, still - which, until the band tells me to stop, you can get from the pinstand for $4 inc. mail ($5 foreign) - if interested email orders@pinstand.com with the subject=VCD186, and I'll let you know the process, or just paypal straight in to that address. The band themselves have been known to sell a CDR of audio of the whole show off their merch stand.
